Vice President, Crowley Government Services (CGS) Maritime
Sean Thomas leads the Crowley Government Services (CGS) global energy services domain. He is largely focused on Crowley’s U.S. Government and partner nation clients. Sean’s focus spans a latitude of market segments to include fuel supply, storage, distribution; asset infrastructure development and operations; logistics; and marine services.
Sean is responsible for developing and executing innovative solutions for the U.S. Government to support peacetime and contingency operations, including Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response activities.
Sean joined Crowley in 2012, initially serving as Vice President for Crowley’s Refined Fuel Business. In that role, he was accountable for a $300 million annual line of business that provided fuel supply, storage, and distribution services ashore and at sea throughout Alaska, Canada, and the Arctic.
Before joining Crowley, he served in senior executive roles in the Architect Engineer Construction (AEC) industry, enjoying a diverse and broad career in both the commercial and public sectors in multiple locations throughout the Pacific Rim and the Arctic.
Sean is the Co-Chair of the Energy Sub-Committee for Military Distribution of the National Defense Transportation Association and is a member of the Arctic Economic Council. Sean additionally serves as a Director of the International Propeller Club of Alaska and as the Vice President of the Alaska Airshow Association; an avid supporter of the U.S. Air Force’s public-facing mission in the Arctic. Sean has also been honored to be a U.S. Navy distinguished visitor aboard CVN 72 USS Abraham Lincoln.
